My sister and I share stories of brushes with beyond, and this blog was set up to record such tales.  After all, we don't mention these events in random conversation.  We pretty much reserve such discussions to just we two.  But the reality of the unreal is strong with us, and what better place to record these experiences than the ether of the internet?

  1. Where to begin..so many stories, First going back decades to the weeks when my two year old was waking, screaming every night after the introduction of my recently passed aunts' rocking chair into his room..why did it take me so long to understand? And The voiceless telephone calls from that same aunt, knowing that even though she had recently died, still it was her somehow making those calls. The slow noisy sliding of the receiver, the way it sounded when she had called in the months prior to her final illness, because her arm, her hand was weak from the stroke she had suffered some years back. She was trying to warn me for his sake, I realized that too many years later. And the numerous dreams that became reality, the messages in self propelled books leaping off shelves, dropping at my feet. But the event, the first that AM and I shared, that was a beginning for us together even though we had both had many individual experiences of the unexplainable prior to that day.

  2. Seeking is hard work, whatever your spiritual system of choice. Yet connections to other energies happen, willfully or not. There is something in human chemistry which allows angelic interference, I am convinced. How much attention is paid to these transmissions is up to each of us. Are you willing to listen? What comes through is up to you.

Today my 85-year-old father-in-law pointed out the window from his hospital bed toward five crows flying through the trees. He spoke of how his late, beloved wife enjoyed birds in flight to her last day.

How many crows does it take to qualify for the collective noun, murder of crows? I don't know. I do know that crow signals change, and for a very sick elder these birds flew past to remind him of this fact of life. Life is change; change is the only constant for mortals. It is our boon and our doom.

When my father-in-law felt the message of the crows, he instantly connected it with the love he holds still for his departed partner. There is comfort here, and he is willing to seek it.
